The Link Centre will be a place for the whole community

We will host a wide range of events from concerts, community activities, exhibitions and church services.

Here are some of the events & activities we already know will be hosted at The Link Centre. More will be added over the coming months as we prepare to open in Spring 2026.

Craft & Chat

Every Monday

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

While building work is happening, Craft & Chat are meeting at St Oswald’s Church Hall, Ashbourne DE6 1AN

Do you like papercraft or to knit, stitch, crochet, draw or make things?  Bring your craft along and join us. Or do you just like to chat?  You will be made very welcome too.  Please drop in!

Welly Club

Every Tuesday

9:30 am – 11:00 am

While building work is happening, Welly Club is meeting at Ashbourne Town Hall, Market Place, Ashbourne DE6 1ES

Join us for fun, free, sessions for pre-school children and babies. We have activities for you to enjoy together with your child, as well as storytime and songs with Share Bear.

Community Activities

As a community hub, we hope that we’ll be able to host a wide range of groups, including youth organisations, community choirs & social groups for people of all ages.

Community Meals

When we open in Spring 2026, we plan to begin hosting regular community meals, to which everyone is invited for good value, healthy food and a chance to connect with others.

Concerts & Art exhibitions

We are planning a series of cultural events throughout the year, including concerts & art exhibitions.

Church with Choices

Every Sunday

10:30 am – 12noon

While building work is happening, the morning service takes place at Ashbourne Hilltop School, Willow Meadow Road, Ashbourne DE6 1HJ

Ashbourne Methodist Church’s weekly morning service is great for all ages, with worship choices allowing everyone to worship God.

Afternoon Tea Service

The first Sunday of each month

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

While building work is happening, Afternoon Tea Service is being held at St Oswald’s Church Hall, Ashbourne DE6 1AN

Ashbourne Methodist Church invites you to hymns & prayers accompanied by tea & cake at our Afternoon Tea Service.

Praise! Service

The third Sunday of each month

6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

While building work is happening, Praise takes place at St Oswald’s Church Hall, Ashbourne DE6 1AN

Praise is a contemporary, cafe style worship service with our live band. Services include a mix of times of lively praise and periods for reflection, with opportunities for discussion.
